I’ve lost respect for you
No disrespect, Mr. Cruz from Texas. However, stop bending over backward for the opposing party. I can’t believe you said what you said, when nobody has been charged with insurrection, nobody was charged with firearms. These have all been misdemeanors, the people that they do have and what they’ve been charged with. I used to be so proud of you as a Tejano, as a Hispanic. But now, no thanks. I’ve lost respect for you. Totally lost the respect when you start bending at the knees.
Extend the due date
I just received my city of Waukegan water bill today. It’s dated 12/23/21 and today’s date is Jan. 5, 2022. The due date is Jan. 7, two days from today. I can write my check, but it goes to Bedford Park, Illinois. So, once again, I will be getting a late fee. I know it’s only $2.20, but excuse me. You need to improve on your billing. Extend the due date a little bit more, please.

The barbarians are out there
Reality and a cautionary tale. I go to pick up my spouse at Victory East Hospital. It’s 12 degrees above zero. I run in her clothes to the front desk. Car is parked two spaces down on the curb drive from the main entrance. Lights and flashers on right in front of the glass wall which holds the security kiosk and a packed seating area for emergency. Less than five minutes max, car is stolen. I am old, long retired and the car was 12 years old. We see in the media daylight robberies, assaults, shootings and hijackings. And it seems remote until some criminal element touches your life. People actually talk about defunding the police, no bail and social workers while restricting your right to the tools to protect yourself and your property. Beware. The barbarians are out there.

The 10 Republicans who voted to impeach Bone Spur should be given congressional medals of honor. They are being humiliated by their own people because their own people — the Republican Party — knows that Bone Spur instigated this riot and this insurrection. All these Republicans know that it’s his fault, Bone Spur, for all this garbage that’s going down. The guy is a liar and a narcissist, and is out of his mind. He’s a lunatic. He lost. He lost bad, and he can’t accept it. Well, too bad, buddy. You lost. You’re done. They want to run you again. We’ll whip you again, by even more than 7 million.

Partisan hack
Hey Mark Shaw, chairman of the Lake County Republican Central Committee: Why would Nancy Pelosi put Jim Jordan on that committee, since Jim Jordan still will not even admit that Bone Spur lost the election. That is what you call a partisan hack, my friend.
Not just Republicans
I’m a conservative. I’m a Republican who has gotten the two shots, plus the booster shot. I wear a mask whenever I go out. I follow the precaution rules. Some stores you have to wear them, some stores you don’t. I do what is required. But I am tired of Democrats calling into Talk of the County and saying it’s conservatives that refuse to get the shot, so let them drop. OK, I know plenty of Democrats that also refuse to get the shot. People have a choice, and you just can’t categorize it by Democrats and Republicans.
