Earth needs more people?
USA birthrate lowest since it became a nation! Elon Musk believes earth needs more people or humans will become extinct. He has 7 boys with various women. Tesla Bot, his humanoid will be ready in 2022 to handle many jobs including in our homes. How are we to support ourselves? That divorce lawyer who touts a father’s rights. Does Elon even know what a father is let alone what a real world and real life is like? He’s from Africa where over 225 million people are starving! They need more children like America needs more guns? And fresh water? What about USA’s toilet paper shortage? Should we just stop pooping?

Good article by Amy Swearer, regarding people of color would not be acquitted with a self-defense trial and jury. News Sun, Monday, Dec. 20, Page 6. She showed seven examples of people of color acquitted of murder through self-defense. I’m sure there were many other acquittals in recent years in self-defense trials. As a society right and wrong isn’t determined by color It’s determined by doing the right thing in life. That’s why we have laws to follow.
Understanding COVID-19 outbreaks
This is to the “Only reason COVID-19 won’t leave . . . “. First of all you must not understand that COVID is a virus & regardless of what happens it will not be leaving . . . it is here for good now. Second . . . if masks & vaccinations are so wonderful, why are the vaccinated persons still having COVID outbreaks. You mentioned that there are too many people who travel internationally . . . how about the people who illegally enter the USA? It could be possible that these illegal entrants are not vaccinated & are bringing in more than the COVID virus, but no one seems to talk about these people. Just interesting that the unvaccinated are being blamed for the continuation of COVID outbreaks, when there are many vaccinated persons who are experiencing issues as well.
More compliments for road work
I am so very happy for the wonderful roadwork done on Sheridan Road from Greenwood Avenue north to the state line and then from Glen Flora south. What I am unhappy about is the stretch of Sheridan Road between Glen Flora and Greenwood. What happened to resurfacing that road? There has been potholes, loose sewer covers and various other hazardous problems for years and now we are still looking at that stretch of road that will get progressively worse over the winter. There is no rhyme or reason to road projects in Illinois!
Persistence in job hunt
People who have walked off or been fired from their jobs, can collect unemployment, it just talked longer to receive it. Be persistent, apply and continue looking for work. It is difficult especially since COVID-19 started. Good luck.
Taxpayer money for dropped charges
Now that Democrat States Attorney Rinehart dropped the murder charges after 2 convictions, how many millions of dollars of taxpayer money will Parker and Fillyaw receive.
School Zone Safety
Safety is school zones should be everyone’s priority — thank goodness for the Gurnee Community Service Officer being in front of the high school each morning. I do recommend, in the name of safety, that when parked in the middle of road, the officer should have their safety blinkers on.
