Kind of makes you wonder just how recalcitrant they have become? Yet, they believe in his voter fraud accusation?
So close yet so far away: Despite a disappointing season, the Bears figure to be only a few acquisitions short of respectability (i.e., a new coach, a new general manager and a cheerleading squad).
Build with tornadoes in mind: Regarding the tornadoes in southern Illinois, if Mr. Bezos would have had a building making missiles or spaceships down in that town, I’m sure the buildings would have been rated for EF5 or greater category tornadoes. But what I understand, the building was rated only for 100 mph to 105 mph, which is an EF2 or maybe an EF3. I think he should think about maybe improving his building safety with going a little bit higher because these storms are getting worse and worse.
Insurrectionist planners go free: The masterminds behind the Jan. 6 insurrection are the ones who should spend time in jail, but of course they’re the ones who have money and power, which is always the case of those cowardly people who hide behind their expensive lawyers and will not cooperate and will take forever to prosecute. I truly believe they will get away with this because the Republicans, who gerrymandered their districts and are working to rig the next election will take over, disbanded the Jan. 6 committee and let these people go free.
Too much interest in Chicago: Why is it that people living in the suburbs worry more about what’s going on in Chicago, violent crimes and useless city officials, then they do about their own suburb?
Herd immunity gamble: Fox opinion shows continue to espouse natural immunity over vaccination. I call it culling the herd or the Jim Jones approach. Not so sure the herd immunity approach has worked out so well for Sweden. Anyway, raise your hand if you wish to be a sacrificial lamb in the natural immunity approach. Is it really worth the gamble?
Something’s not right: With 13 Bear players and three coordinators out with COVID-19, either the Bears are not following NFL protocol or the protocol is ineffective.
