A rainy morning Saturday resulted in Halloween in the Park being moved from the 95th Street Community Plaza’s Wagner Pavilion to the 95th Street Library but that didn’t seem to dampen the enthusiasm of the two dozen children who gathered to sing a few holiday-themed songs and listen to a few “spooky” stories presented by costumed

librarians. The event was a prelude to the trick-or-treating ahead on Sunday, including the Halloween Hop being held downtown from 10 a.m. to noon. With sunny skies and temperatures in the mid-50s predicted, it should be a perfect day for little ghouls and goblins to hit the streets.
