Monday was a beautiful day for a Labor Day parade, and the huge crowds gathered along the downtown Naperville parade route would seem to agree. Local organizations and color guards carrying flags and signs were interspersed with marching bands, politicians and groups tossing candy to the kids. The annual event, canceled last year because of the pandemic, was the perfect lead-in to the final day of the Last Fling festival, held along Jackson Avenue.
