Stop retraining kids
I am so grateful I have no kids in District 60. I couldn’t be more grateful. I don’t believe in this new movement to retrain children on how to think. They’re forcing little brains to think one direction and it’s their direction, which is these teachers with their liberal thinking. Leave the children alone. You are confusing them.
Better things to worry about
It’s kind of ridiculous how people talk, and people give a damn about how Melania Trump and Biden’s wife dress. Who gives a damn about how they dress? And, yeah, Melania can afford to have fancy clothes. So what? But she’s still a very intelligent woman, and during her speech during the election she was very intelligent. She was in my opinion better than Obama’s wife, Michelle. I’m sorry, but everybody just thinks that she was somebody who was up there just for looks and that was it. But I’m sorry, don’t pick on her because she’s a beautiful woman and she dresses nice. Big deal. We’ve got better things in this world to worry about.
Put down your phone
It’s so amazing how you cannot get through an intersection in Lake County without some idiot in the lead talking on their cellphone. You’ve got to sit there and lay on the horn before they realize what they’re doing. This is ridiculous. The law needs to step up and stop this stuff. This is what we’re paying them for. This is what they said they were going to do. Well, in my view, it has never happened. Between Waukegan and Wadsworth, I get the same garbage every day. If it’s not somebody heading head-on into me from the opposite lane, it’s somebody sitting at a light playing with their phone. This is enough. Come on people, wake up. You’re driving in your car, you’re not doing entertainment. Get over it.
That’s a no-no
I think our Waukegan city police officers need to start sitting on some of the side streets due to the fact that we are getting semi-trucks going on some of these smaller streets now. I think that’s a no-no. If you can’t do the job, then get the sheriff out here to help.
A wonderful solution
Leave it to another state, Ohio, to come up with a wonderful solution. Anyone with a vaccine can get an entry into a lottery up to $1 million. It’s always Illinois that’s the last one to figure out how to do something phenomenally good.
Get the shot
To those people who still have not gotten their COVID vaccine, my friend developed COVID last year. She seemed to have gotten better but now, six months later, she is dying of final-stage lung cancer. So is not doing what something tells you not to do worth dying for?
