Happy with Joe

I’m very happy that Joe Biden is our president now. To compare him to Jimmy Carter and what happened in the ’70s is silly, except in one respect — both men were honest compared to the last president we just had, Donald Trump. As for inflation in our country, you can blame the trade war with China more than anything else that’s happened since the pandemic. Oh, a pandemic that was worsened by Donald Trump not telling the truth to our country and warning us about it.

Stop arguing

I’m tired of hearing all the arguing people. No, Trump may not have been the answer, but he was the alternative for what we’re going through right now — this garbage where the government’s going to tell you how you can live and breathe.

At least he can read

To “Reading from a script”: At least Chuck Schumer knows how to read. The former president did not.

Hope you’re happy

Sometimes ignorance speaks. To the fool who thinks that the closing of the Keystone XL Pipeline has caused gas prices to go up, he should do his research because that pipeline was only sending oil to be exported. And the shutdown of the Colonial Pipeline was due to hackers from Russia. So, I hope you’re happy with your ignorance.

Only for the rich and famous

Do people realize when your phones die, normally it’s because the battery is dead. And when you try to replace the battery on your expensive iPhones or Google phones, you might as well buy another phone. Guess what, no difference with the electric car, people. You still need energy, which is natural energy, to make these vehicles go. And to replace these batteries, they’re ridiculous. Only for the rich and famous, let me tell you. And the normal, everyday person like myself wouldn’t be able to afford another battery.

Not doing their job?

It’s time to cut your grass and weed-whack around your trees and poles. Don’t you know how to do a thorough job, or do you need code enforcement to come in and tell you how to do things? Another thing, folks, temporary shelters are not allowed in the city limits of Waukegan. So that means you’re going to have to take them down. When I made contact with the city of Waukegan representative, they confirmed that these tents are not allowed. So why is code enforcement not doing their job? Could it be because they’re staying at home and not riding through the neighborhood?
