Ridiculous
A little while ago, somebody asked why name schools after people. Why not name them after something else, like a tree? What happens if the Thomas Jefferson Middle School is named after John Lewis, and we find something wrong with him? Then we’re going to change the name again? All that does is cost the taxpayers money because they have to change all the lettering and the name and that’s costly. It’s ridiculous.
Stop infringing
Pritzker is coming up for reelection. Let’s vote to keep him. He has done the best job he could considering COVID. The only thing keeping our community with restrictions, and delaying a full reopening of our economy, are the people who refuse to wear a mask. All because they feel it is a political issue and a right. They are correct. It is their prerogative if they want to wear a mask. But, we all have the right to feel safe and have our economies reopened. Wearing masks and vaccines will get us there faster. Please stop infringing on other people’s right and liberties to stay healthy.
Time out
CNN needs to be more careful about what it posts on its very liberal website. In a story about a woman who conceived a second child while already pregnant with a different child, we find the sentence, “At first, baby Noah was all alone, growing beautifully in his mother’s womb.” A bit later, we find the following: “An ultrasound taken at week 12 showed that Noah had an unexpected little sister.” Time out, CNN. Have you forgotten your consistent messaging about a “woman’s right to choose?” Apparently, and by your own words, what she’s choosing is death for an unborn baby, a “little sister,” a “child,” not just some abstract fetal material.
Stop enticing riots
Democrats must quit enticing riots. Maxine Waters needs to create calm, not entice riots.
It will be his undoing
You know that bumbling Biden and his love with China, it’ll be his undoing. The way they’re trying to change all this stuff because of the virus. Listen, everybody’s getting sick and tired of the lawyers thinking that they have mind control.

Years ago at the end of the nightly news, there was a public service announcement stating, “It’s 10:30 parents, do you know where your children are?” It’s time to reinstate this announcement to remind parents of their responsibility.
Unwelcome and indefensible
Orwell’s “1984” has come to roost in America in 2021. On April 19, the Biden administration started sending words to Newspeak for rewriting. “Illegal alien” will no longer be acceptable for government workers to use on paper, or on their letterheads, or anything like that. They have to change that. The reason the Biden administration is changing that to something else is to forever obscure the real truth. They will blur the truth by intentionally creating a dystopia while selling their dystopia as a future utopia. When you change words, it’s usually an admission that the real term that should be used is unwelcome in their Marxist circle. It’s unwelcome because it’s indefensible.
Companies know
Another construction contractor saying he didn’t hire enough local people. Oh, tell me it’s not so. All these companies do that. It should be easy enough to go back and check and see them, but then of course the owners are going to say they didn’t know anything about it. Of course they’re going to say that. But we all know they know everything that goes on in that company. They know every move everyone makes, what everyone does every second of every day. So they know. That’s been going on for a long time, I think. They never hired a hometown guy.
