Name dropping
I have a comment about changing the names of the schools, Jefferson and Webster. Thomas Jefferson was a president of the United States. He wrote the Declaration of Independence. He brought about the Louisiana Purchase. He also brought about the purchase along the Columbia River, which consists of Oregon, Washington and Montana. How can you change the name? I just don’t understand why we would have Congressman John Lewis as a name on the school. He’s not from our area. He’s not from the Midwest. Yes, he did a lot of good things. But certainly there are more important people locally that can help us. Mae Jemison, George Bridges, these are people who should be honored — not people from out of town. The Obamas, I could understand why we’d want to honor him, but why don’t we wait a few years after they’ve been retired. OK?

Finish the wall
Biden is an idiot for allowing this migrant surge. We don’t have room for our own people. We can’t take care of all of our own people. We don’t have jobs for everybody, and why should the taxpayers take care of these people? What you need to do is just take all those people, put them on the other side of the wall and leave them there. I’m sorry. Let their own country take care of them. It’s getting where we help everybody else, but nobody ever helps us. Trump was right trying to fix the wall. He should have finished it.
Let’s do it
Someone brought to my attention that I should file a lawsuit against the United States government, the Joe Biden and Harris administration, for allowing all these folks to jump the line to come into our country. It’s not a few thousand. It’s thousands of people at the border. Thousands. What happens to my family member that’s been waiting to get in, and has paid a pretty penny to get in, and they are still waiting in line. I think the American people, and those waiting in line, should file a lawsuit against the government. Since this is the country of lawsuits, let’s do it.
What a disaster
I drove by that big beautiful oak tree at Grand and Green Bay. What a disaster that is. I remember that tree from fourth grade. I went to Spaulding School. I looked out at that tree every day in fourth grade. There were two big oak trees there back then. That was 1965.
Parking problem
Recently, I received a gift from the city of Waukegan. I parked my car in front of my house at 10 a.m. in the morning. Turns out the alternate parking ordinance has been changed. That means you or anyone visiting can get a $25 ticket if you are on the wrong side of the street. What I want to know is why this ordinance was changed? Is this just a money grab? I called City Hall and just got transferred from one department, to another, to another. I have contacted my alderman. He said he would look into this issue and get back to me.

Some moron wrote in and just said some horrible things about Rush Limbaugh, who is now passed on and dead. You have to be the lowest form of coward to do anything like that. I think the election was stolen from Trump, but Biden’s the president and, as long as he’s the president, that’s the way it is and I wish that the Democrats can do the same thing as us Republicans.
