Former “RuPaul’s Drag Race” star Chi Chi DeVayne has died at age 34.

Fellow Drag Racer Trinity K. Bonet confirmed the news on Instagram Wednesday.

“Love you lil sister..rest on,” she wrote, sharing a photo of the beloved drag performer.

The Shreveport, La. native went on to become one of the show’s favorite contestants when she joined the cast on season eight, in 2016, and made it to the top four.

Known for her southern charm, quick wit and contagious laughter, DaVayne came back to the third season of “RuPaul’s Drag Race All-Stars” in 2018, finishing in 8th place.

Chi Chi DaVayne — the stage name of Zavion Davenport — was hospitalized in July, with suspected kidney failure, according to Entertainment Weekly. She was discharged later that month.

On Saturday she posted on Instagram a message telling her fans that she was back in the hospital.

“Keep me in your prayers. I’ll be back soon,” she said, while hooked up to tubes from a hospital bed.

“This is so heart-breaking,” tweeted

fellow “Drag Race” contestant Pandora Boxx. “RIP Chi Chi DeVayne My heart goes out to all of Chi Chi’s family, friends and fans.”
