The “Pitch Perfect” star is considering being the next “Bachelorette Down Under.”
“I’ve turned into such a romantic. I’m not ashamed to admit that I watch and love shows like ‘The Bachelor’ and ‘Bachelorette,'” Wilson told News.com.au this week.
But only if the price is right.
“My price is $20 million, so I don’t think [Channel 10, the network it airs on] can afford it — I’m not going to expose myself publicly in that way for a low price,” she quipped.
On a serious note, the Australian actress told the outlet, “But I think it’d be interesting to represent a more real-looking woman as ‘The Bachelorette.’ I think that’d be a really positive message and I think people would find it more interesting.”
Unabashed supporting roles in films such as “Bridesmaids,” “What to Expect When You’re Expecting” and the hit “Pitch Perfect” – where her character was named Fat Amy, has led the funnywoman to become an icon for body positivity.
Since it premiered in the early aughts, “The Bachelor” franchise has been criticized for its lack of diversity.
