A 23-year-old Harvey man was shot dead Thursday on the block where he lived.
Kameron Barner, of the 14600 block of Union Avenue, was shot multiple times at about 7:20 p.m., according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
He was pronounced dead an hour later at Ingalls Memorial Hospital, records show.
Harvey police did not respond to a request for comment on Barner’s slaying, which occurred about eight blocks from where a 36-year-old Calumet City man was fatally shot Tuesday.
The homicide is Harvey’s fourth this month and seventh this year, records show.
