Dems may be gloating but Trump’s winning

Naperville opinion writers have been very quiet of late with regard to their vitriol and hatred of President Trump.

Perhaps it’s because the economy is solid, stock market is at all-time highs, wages are rising for the middle class, unemployment is at 50-year lows, trade deals are getting done, taxes got cut, terror leaders are being killed, and conservative judges are remaking the federal judiciary at an alarming rate.

That’s reality and it’s what you won’t read in the Washington Post, New York Times or the opinion page in the Naperville Sun. Now, contrast that with the most recent Democratic debate. Joe Biden can’t form complete sentences and he’s the Democratic front runner. Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders are unelectable. Why? They’re Socialists.

But what really crystallized the duplicity and nefarious nature of this whole impeachment sham was watching Nancy Pelosi hand out gold pens with her name on them, joyfully declaring, “He’s impeached forever.” I thought this was a somber moment and she was saying prayers for the president?

Message to local Dems in Congress. Trump has $100 million war chest and is barreling towards re-election in nine months. Your party is so pathetically out of touch with reality it’s astounding. You may have safe passage because Democrats have run this state into the ground. It’s become a fiscal laughingstock with residents and businesses leaving in droves. But if you stay in power, know you’ve done nothing to help this state or it’s people. You’re all part of the problem. Trump is the solution.

Indiana, keep a light on for me.

‘Snap back’ in Iran nuke deal anything but

Remember the “snap-back” provision of the Iran nuclear deal? Iran has stated it would no longer be bound by the accord and has ramped up production and stockpiling of enriched uranium. France, Germany and Britain have triggered the “snap-back” provision, which means that they may re-impose UN sanctions within 60 days.

However, their diplomats would rather talk, talk, talk, and they are prepared to tolerate the violations for now, and maybe even after the 60 days are up. How’s that for a “snap-back”?
