The Chicago Symphony Orchestra Association and the Chicago Symphony Chorus have reached a tentative agreement for a new five-year contract, according to the CSOA and the American Guild of Musical Artists (AGMA), which represents the chorus.

“The agreement is pending ratification by AGMA, as well as the CSOA Board of Trustees, and will be effective to Sept. 11, 2019,” according to a joint statement from the two parties. The chorus had been working under its previous contract, which expired on Sept. 10.

Details will be released once the agreement is ratified.
