Car runs into Aurora pond, driver rescued uninjured

Aurora Fire Department divers rescued a woman after she lost control of her car and plunged into a retention pond Saturday while exiting Interstate 88 at Bilter Road, police officials said.

The woman was able to get out of the car and was rescued by a dive team with no injuries, according to an Aurora Police Department Facebook post.

The Aurora Fire Department dive team and Aurora police were on the scene for several hours in order to hook up a cable and pull the car out of the pond.
