Last fall, the Museum of Contemporary Art and music website Pitchfork announced a series of talks with speakers including Solange, Vince Staples and Chance the Rapper, but Chance wound up having to re-schedule.
Now, Chancelor Bennett’s date has been finalized, and it’s coming up quickly: The Chicago rapper and activist is scheduled to appear 6 p.m. Monday, March 5. Tickets will be on sale at noon Friday, March 2 for $20 at mcachicago.org.
Chicago native and writer Adrienne Samuels Gibbs will moderate Chance’s talk, which will touch on topics from his “interests in the art world to his work in philanthropy and community building,” per the MCA press release.
If you can’t make it or can’t snag a ticket, the conversation will be available in full as a podcast on Pitchfork’s website following the event.
6 p.m. Monday at Edlis Neeson Theater at MCA Chicago
220 E. Chicago Ave., general: 312-280-2660, box office: 312-397-4010
