Pop-up bars continue to pop off, so, of course, there are plenty of holiday editions throughout the city.
To celebrate the Christmas season, REPLAY Lincoln Park — the bar that transformed into Moe’s Tavern for Halloween — is hosting a 12 Nights of Christmas pop-up, a reference to the carol about a dozen days of the holiday, but not at all themed after it. Instead, REPLAY decided to mash up its favorite Christmas movies for its latest pop-up.
The back bar of the Lincoln Park arcade bar will be decked out in a smorgasbord of cinematic holiday decor. “Gremlins” get the top billing, while elements of “Elf,” “The Grinch,” “Rudolph,” “Eight Crazy Nights,” “Home Alone,” “The Nightmare Before Christmas,” and “A Christmas Story” all co-star in the display. Expect to hear plenty of Christmas music in the air.
Themed festive drinks will also be on deck, including seasonal beers and a holiday cocktail menu:

The pop-up opened last Friday, Dec. 7, and it will continue through Dec. 19. REPLAY is open 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. Monday through Thursday, 3 p.m. to 2 a.m. Friday, noon to 3 a.m. Saturday and noon to 2 a.m. Sunday.
