First Team

Jordyn Boyer, Lowell, junior: Won conference, sectional, regional and semistate titles before earning all-state honors with ninth place at the state meet with an 18:23.

Shelby Bullock, Chesterton, junior: Emerged as a top runner with a strong showing at the New Prairie Invitational and earned all-state honors by finishing 13th at state in 18:28.

Logan Ferngren, Valparaiso, senior: After finishing fifth at the New Prairie Semistate, she was the top local finisher at the state meet, placing eighth (18:21).

Ava Gilliana, Valparaiso, sophomore: Finished first with an 18:27 at the New Prairie Regional and was the runner-up at semistate one week later in 18:13.

Hannah Wylie, Crown Point, senior: Cracked the top 25 at her final meet to earn all-state honors, finishing 21st overall in 18:34.

Second Team

Brooke Hayden, Lowell, sophomore: A crucial part of the Red Devils’ return to the state meet as a team, she finished fourth at regionals in 19:34 and 22nd at semistate in 19:18.

Hailey Orosz, Wheeler, freshman: Capped stellar debut season by qualifying for state meet after finishing 14th in 19:04 at the New Prairie Semistate.

Shelby Riehle, LaPorte, junior: One of the Slicers’ top runners all season helped LaPorte return to the state meet as a team by finishing 12th at semistate in 19:01.

Maddie Russin, Crown Point, sophomore: Finished eighth in 18:47 at the New Prairie Semistate to earn her second straight state meet berth.

Katerina Shuble, LaPorte, senior: Led the Slicers across the finish line at the semistate and state meets, including ninth place at semistate in 18:47.

Maria Blaesing, Munster, sophomore; Annalise James, Lowell, junior; Brendea McNeal, Merrillville, senior; Holly Shaginaw, Hobart, junior; Emily Worthington, Valparaiso, freshman; Sarah Worthington, Valparaiso, freshman.
