Torino announced Friday the acquisition of Venezuelan midfielder Tomas Rincon on a season-long loan from Juventus.
“Tomas Rincon is a ductile and complete midfielder who combines physical and technical qualities with recognized personality qualities: in the field is a drag and a constant point of reference for his comrades,” said Torino president Urbano Cairo.
“He is an ambitious and determined guy: this will also help him to be an integral part of our work team. In addition to talent, he brings to Toro enthusiasm and experience, so on behalf of the whole company I am happy to welcome Tomas Rincon.”
Rincon, 29, split time last season between Cagliari and Juventus, making a total of 29 appearances and totaling 3 assists. The season-long loan includes an option to make the deal permanent.
