Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Here’s a hot deal worth mooing about: Rustle up cow costumes and drive your herd to Chick-fil-A for free eats on Tuesday, July 11.

The 13th annual Cow Appreciation Day rewards cow-clad customers with udderly delicious free entrees for breakfast, lunch and dinner until 7 p.m. at participating locations. Last year, the chain gave away more than a million freebies.

The chain has simplified the rewards this year. Customers wearing anything cow-like get a free entree or kids meal for children, according to the company’s website. (In previous years, the more cow you wore, the more food you got.)

Berakfast entrees to choose from include Egg White Grill, Chick-fil-A Chicken or Sausage Biscuit, Chick-n-Minis (3 or 4 count). For lunch or dinner, pick a Smokehouse BBQ Bacon or Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwiche, grilled or fried chicken nuggets or strips f, among other offerings. Salads are not included in this year’s freebie.

Creating a costume is easy. It’s what separates the calves from the calve-nots. Go to CowAppreciationDay.com to print out ears, noses, tails, spots, hats, glasses, mustaches and more.

So, get mooooving. Don’t be Chikin.
