Chicago Police are continuing to search for the driver who last month critically wounded a pedestrian in a hit-and-run accident on the city’s Southwest Side.
A 28-year-old man was struck by an SUV while crossing the street in the 5400 block of South Pulaski Road in Chicago’s West Elsdon neighborhood around 10:45 p.m. on April 19, according to a CPD news release.
The vehicle, described as a dark-colored Honda CR-V, was last seen driving away from the scene northbound toward 54th Street. Police recovered surveillance footage of the vehicle, which it disseminated in a community alert.
