When choosing the perfect gift for Mom this year, consider getting creative. Buy some edible flowers and plant them for her on Mother’s Day, May 14. Perhaps she’d like to tour a winery in Lake County and then choose a bottle or two to take home. Maybe she’d rather be taken out to brunch, or get creative herself during a painting class or maybe she’d like to tour a gold pyramid.

Here are five ways to make Mother’s Day weekend special this year in Lake County. Some require reservations, so call ahead to make sure Mom gets the beautiful day she deserves.
