An armed robbery was reported Tuesday afternoon at a video game store on Aurora’s East Side, according to police.
At about 6:08 p.m. Tuesday at the game store on the 2900 block of Kirk Road, a male suspect with his face covered robbed the business at gunpoint and made off with an undisclosed amount of money, according to a social media post and email from police spokesman Dan Ferrelli.
Three people were in the GameStop, two female employees ages 19 and 21 and an 18-year-old male customer, according to police.
Ferrelli declined to say who called in the robbery or if it was captured on video. Beyond saying no restraints were used by the alleged robber, he said police were not elaborating on what happened.
Reached by phone Friday, GameStop employees declined to comment on the robbery.
