Fraud
*A resident of the 1000 block of Fisher Lane on Feb. 6 reported that their personal financial information was used without their permission to open an American Express credit card account. The amount of loss is $189.
*A resident of the 1500 block of Hazel Lane on Feb. 6 reported that their personal financial information was used without their permission to obtain an automobile loan from Bank of America. The amount of loss is more than $5,000.
*A resident of the 500 block of Chestnut Street on Feb. 8 reported that fraudulent emails were sent to their financial advisor requesting that funds be sent to an unknown party via a wire transfer. There is no reported loss at this time.
Theft
*Several pieces of jewelry were taken from a residence in the 800 block of Burr Avenue, according to a Feb. 7 report. The amount of loss is $2,300.
*Several pieces of clothing were taken from a store in the 500 block of Chestnut Street, according to a Feb. 7 report. The amount of loss is $1,063.
