The following items were taken from Winnetka Police Department reports and press releases. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt.

DUI

*Timothy J. Wahlberg, 45, of the 400 block of Hancock Avenue in South Elgin, was charged with DUI, improper parking on a roadway and driving with an obstructed windshield in the 100 block of Church Street on Nov. 20.

Criminal damage

*A resident of the 900 block of Pine Street reported on Nov. 15 that their kitchen window and screen had been damaged. Repair costs are $275.

Theft

*A secured boys “Momentum Rocker” bicycle was taken from a bike rack in the 100 block of Wilson Street, according to a Nov. 15 report. The amount of loss is $620.

*An unattended bag containing power tools was taken from a first floor hallway in the 700 block of Elm Street, according to a Nov. 15 report. The amount of loss is $500.

Fraud

*A resident of the 700 block of Sumac Lane reported on Nov. 16 that their personal financial information was used without their permission to open various credit card accounts. The amount of loss is $1,226.

*A resident of the 200 block of Winnetka Avenue on Nov. 17 reported that their personal financial information was used to purchase a vehicle, auto insurance and open a credit card account. The amount of loss exceeds $10,000.

*A resident of the 900 block of Euclid Avenue on Nov. 17 reported that their personal financial information was used to open a credit card account and in attempts to open other credit card accounts. The amount of loss is $76.
