The following items were taken from Winnetka and Northfield police department reports and press releases. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt.

Northfield

Theft

*A leaf blower and a chainsaw were taken from a truck parked near the intersection of Wagner and Bosworth roads, according to a Nov. 10 report. The loss is estimated at $750.

*Someone broke a rear window of a vehicle parked in the 200 block of Waukegan Road on Nov. 10 and took a Gucci purse and checks, police said. The estimated loss is more than $500.

Winnetka

Fraud

*A resident of the 1100 block of Scott Avenue reported on Nov. 8 that someone used their personal information to open several AT&T wireless accounts. There is no reported loss at this time.

Disorderly conduct

*Tracy Ray Rollins Jr., 24, of the 1900 block of Pine Road in Homewood, was charged with disorderly conduct on Nov. 9 subsequent to an investigation of an incident that occurred on Nov. 5, police said.

DUI

*Carmen Chico, 64, of the 6100 block of Fairfield Avenue in Chicago, was charged with DUI and illegal transportation/possession of alcohol in the 1000 block of Tower Road on Nov. 11, police said.

Local ordinance

*David J. Lesser, 22, of the 800 block of Cherry Street in Winnetka, was issued a municipal citation in the 700 block of Oak Street on Nov. 3 for failure to return found property to the owner.
