Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

As the Cubs head to the World Series for the first time since 1945, Cubbie fever continues to take over the city — and its food.

Plenty of restaurants are offering specials during the games, but here’s a fun one you can grab during the workday: In hopes of banishing the bad juju of the Curse of the Billy Goat, Q-BBQ is bringing smoked goat to the lobby of Willis Tower.

Tuesday through Friday, stop by for lunch and grab a hickory-smoked goat sandwich for $10.08, in honor of the Cubs’ last World Series win 108 years ago. The goat, available while supplies last, is rubbed in Q-BBQ’s proprietary 13-spice blend, smoked for more than eight hours and served with a chimichurri sauce.

The Chicago chainlet will also offer pulled pork, brisket and chicken, available as a plate with two sides ($8 to $11) or as a sandwich ($7), all for takeout, at the pop-up.

Not headed to the Loop? 108 of the goat sandwiches will also be available all week at each Q-BBQ location (La Grange, Oak Park, Naperville and Schererville, Ind.).

Q-BBQ’s pop-up will be held 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Friday at Willis Tower, 233 S. Wacker Drive.
