A man was arrested shortly after he allegedly robbed a Loop bank Tuesday morning, according to Chicago police and the FBI.

The man, whose age wasn’t available, was arrested near 18th Street and Michigan Avenue after the bank at 57 E. Randolph St. was robbed about 9:05 a.m.

Chicago police said the man slid the teller a note, and the FBI described the robbery as a “non-takeover.”

Charges were pending, according to Chicago police.
