
A 20-year-old man was shot and killed and another man was wounded near the CTA’s California Pink Line station Sunday morning, according to Chicago police.
Police were called around 7:40 a.m. to the 2000 block of South California Avenue in the city’s Little Village neighborhood for reports of a fight in the area. Responding officers found two gunshot victims.
A 20-year-old man was pronounced dead on the scene, police said. A 24-year-old man who suffered a gunshot wound to the buttocks was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital. The surviving victim’s condition was listed as stable, police said.

No offenders were immediately in custody, police said.
While the altercation occurred outside the CTA station, no pedestrian traffic was being allowed in the station Sunday morning, and trains were bypassing the California stop.
