Chicago police Saturday night released video of a man wanted in the killing of one man and the wounding of another in a shooting last Sunday in the Near North neighborhood.

Police are seeking the man’s identity in the shooting of Marquese Fleming, 20, was killed just after 3:55 a.m. Sept. 18 in the 100 block of West Division Street. A 30-year-old man also was injured.

Someone came out of a fast-food restaurant in the 100 block of West Division Street and opened fire, hitting the men nearby, police said. The shooter fled south on Clark Street in a Chevrolet Tahoe. The men were taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where Fleming, of the 1000 block of North Larabee Street, was pronounced dead and the other man was listed in serious condition with a gunshot wound to the back.

The surveillance video released Saturday shows a man entering what appears to be a fast-food restaurant, walking past the camera and then coming back into view, pausing and looking out the front window of the shop.

The man police are trying to identify is described as a black man, 6 feet or taller, weighing about 190 pounds. He was wearing a black T-shirt with an emblem design that mixes logos for the Chicago Bulls, Chicago White Sox, Chicago Blackhawks and Chicago Bears.
