Rosati’s of Hampshire, 826 Centennial Drive, is expanding so it can offer its customers a large dining area, game and video room, two new washrooms, and televisions with cable service.

Two couples, Anthony and Barbra Patti and Mariana and Rick Gigele, have owned Rosati’s in Hampshire for the past 15 years, according to Barbra. The Pattis have also owned a Rosati’s restaurant at 28948 Route 120 in Lakemoor for the past 10 years.

The space next door to the Hampshire restaurant was formerly occupied by a driving school. When remodeling is completed, the restaurant facility will increase in size from 1,600 square feet to 2,600 square feet. Completion of the expansion is anticipated in about three months.

“We have a lot of great customers in Hampshire and from surrounding communities,” said Barbra. “When the space to expand became available, we decided we needed it because our customers wanted it.”

Rosati’s pizza can be ordered with a thin crust, double dough, pan style, super stuffed or Chicago style deep dish. With a variety of toppings available, Rosati’s tells its customers “if you can dream it, we can make it.”

The restaurant sells jumbo chicken wings and chicken tenders; calzones; a kids’ menu, and specialty dinners such as baby back ribs, fried chicken, fried shrimp and beer-battered fish. There are also sandwiches, hot dogs, hamburgers, and pasta dishes such as spaghetti, ravioli, tortellini, eggplant or chicken parmigiana, fettuccini alfredo, and homemade lasagna. Desserts include cannoli, cookies, brownies and Eli’s cheesecake.

In addition to the soft drinks Rosati’s has been selling, the Village of Hampshire recently created an additional C-2 liquor license so that alcohol can be served to customers when the new dining area opens.

Rosati’s in Hampshire is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday to Thursday and from 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
