Entrepreneurs take a variety of paths on the way to success, often encountering naysayers and other obstacles. At Tuesday’s Pandoland conference, about 200 tech enthusiasts and venture capitalists heard advice and stories from entrepreneurs who have made that journey, as well as writers who observe the effects of technology on society. Last year’s Pandoland, a two-day affair in Nashville, drew more than 700 attendees, co-founder Paul Carr said.
