The Hampshire Fire Department responded to two separate crashes each involving two vehicles on Sunday afternoon.
“The Hampshire Fire Department responded to a two-vehicle accident at Route 20 and Tang Boulevard at 2:47 p.m.,” said Trevor Herrmann, Hampshire deputy fire chief. “Four people were transported with not life-threatening injuries to Advocate Sherman Hospital in Elgin, and one other person was treated at the scene. Mutual Aid Ambulances responded from Burlington, Pingree Grove and Huntley.”
The Hampshire Fire Department responded to a second two-vehicle crash at Route 72 and Walker Road at 5:04 p.m. on Sunday.
“One person was transported to Presence St. Joseph Hospital in Elgin with not life-threatening injuries,” Herrmann said. “Two other people were treated at the scene.”
