Chicago police took four people into custody for questioning after pursuing a sport utility vehicle from Englewood to Markham, police said.
Officers were in the 6100 block of South Peoria Street about 5:25 p.m. when they spotted a vehicle wanted in a police investigation, said Officer Thomas Sweeney, a police spokesman.
The SUV did not stop when police tried to pull it over and fled the neighborhood, Sweeney said.
Video footage showed the vehicle being pursued on the Dan Ryan Expressway and Interstate 57 to near 167th Street and Kedzie Avenue, in Markham.
Police were able to catch up with the vehicle in Markham, where four suspects were taken into custody, Sweeney said.
