Hit a home run, get free tickets.
That’s what the Cubs are offering fans from noon to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Wrigley Square in Millennium Park. The team is setting up a pop-up Wiffle ball home run derby, and those who can send a ball over the fence win a pair of tickets to a game against the Cardinals, White Sox or another marquee opponent.
Single-game tickets go on sale Friday. The team has been teasing its home-run promotion throughout the night via Twitter and Instagram.
Maybe this will inspire the White Sox, who already have a Wiffle ball setup at U.S. Cellular Field where kids can win prizes. But everybody loves Wiffle ball, right?
