The comparisons between this season’s Golden State team and the 72-win Bulls team from 1995-96 have picked up steam ever since the Warriors started 24-0.
Part of the reason the story seems so familiar in Chicago is because Steph Curry and Co. draw wide-eyed spectators even during warmups. We’re talking about warmups, people.
But we get it. Curry in particular embodies his team’s Harlem Globetrotters-like approach to the game, and his ability to shoot such a high percentage from long range and while making it look effortless is extraordinary.
How extraordinary? This interactive scatterplot by Graphiq puts Curry’s rare combination of accuracy and volume in perspective.
