Authorities on Wednesday released surveillance photographs of a man who robbed a Hyde Park bank, the second time in three weeks the branch has been hit by a robber.
In the latest robbery, a man held up the Chase Bank branch, 1204 E. 53rd St., about 5:40 p.m. on Tuesday, authorities said. The same bank was robbed on Jan. 13 by another man.
The robber Tuesday walked into the bank and handed a teller a note implying that he had a gun and demanding money, according to police. The man fled with cash, according to police.
No one was injured and no one was in custody.
The robber was described as a black man, with a slim build, standing 6 feet to 6-foot-1. He was wearing a dark hooded coat, dark jeans, light tan boots and a camouflage baseball cap, according to the FBI.

On Jan. 13, a man in his 20s robbed the same bank about 5:53 p.m.
A man entered the bank on that block and announced a robbery, implying that he had a weapon, police said. The man fled with cash, according to police.
That robber was described as a black man in his mid-20s, about 5-foot-10, with black hair and a gray jacket.
