Officials on Wednesday released photographs of a man who robbed a Lakeview East neighborhood bank this week and is suspected in two other bank robberies in the city in the last month.
The man robbed a Byline Bank, 742 W. Diversey Parkway, about 2:35 p.m. Tuesday, according to the FBI’s BanditTrackerChicago website.
The man entered the bank and demanded money, implying that he had a handgun, said Officer Thomas Sweeney, a Chicago police spokesman. No one was injured in the robbery, he said.

The man is described a black man, standing 6 feet to 6 feet, 4 inches, with a slender to medium build. In the robbery Tuesday, he was wearing a black White Sox cap, a black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
A reward is being offered for information that helps authorities arrest the man. Anyone with information is asked to call the Chicago office of the FBI, 312-421-6700.
