Bail was set at $750,000 for one of two Chicago men charged with Tuesday afternoon’s armed robbery of a south suburban Dunkin’ Donuts restaurant.

A Cook County State’s Attorney’s spokeswoman said Judge Peter A. Felice set bail for Alexander M. Harris, 18, of the 1100 block of East 47th Street at $750,000 on the Dunkin Donuts armed robbery charge, which stems from the 3 p.m. robbery at the eatery in the 6400 block of West 95th Street. Harris had a handgun and fired a shot into the ceiling during the incident, but no one was injured, police said.

Felice also set a second bail for Harris at $250,000 on an unrelated armed-robbery charge.

Bail was set at $250,000 for Darrius J. Mclendon, 19, of the 7000 block of South Normal Avenue, who is also charged in the Chicago Ridge armed robbery. It is alleged that he drove the getaway car.

Both men were arraigned in Bridgeview court Wednesday afternoon and are scheduled to return to court Feb. 3.
