What’s for dinner? JeanMarie Brownson often writes about that very question in her baiduhai column “Dinner at Home,” in which she has been sharing the dishes she creates for family and friends for more than eight years.

Brownson will share some of those recipes in person at a signing and cooking demo for the cookbook “Dinner at Home,” a collection of 140 recipes from the column. The event takes place at Read It & Eat, a culinary bookstore in Lincoln Park, on Dec. 13 at 2 p.m.
