The Boss is back and he’s playing his first Chicago show in three years. On Tuesday, Jan. 19, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will perform at the United Center.
Tickets go on sale Friday, Dec. 11, at 10:00 a.m. via Ticketmaster.com or by phone at 1-(800)-745-3000. Both reserved seats, which’ll run you anywhere from $55 to $150 (pre-service charge), and general admission main floor tickets, $150, will be available for purchase.
The stop is part “The River Tour,” a nine-week U.S. jaunt that coincides with the box set release of “The Ties That Bind: The River Collection,” a four-CD, three-DVD package that features previously unreleased material, studio outtakes, as well as the original 1980’s double studio album “The River,” his fifth, and more.
The Boss’ last stop in Chicago was on 2012’s “Wrecking Ball Tour,” where he played two nights at Wrigley Field. Below, revisit Springsteen’s “The River” highlight “Drive All Night.”
