player ready...The main reason I voted for Gov. Bruce Rauner was one of his platforms: term limits. I have been saying that for years! Too many fat cats rely on this unlimited career. For crying out loud – Rauner does not run the state of Illinois – Speaker of the House Michael Madigan does! He’s been in there entirely too long! Rauner stated that he was going to have term limits. Yet, I have not heard a thing about this since Rauner took office! Why?
This “career” is rampant throughout the states – Representatives and senators use it (or misuse it), I should say. A few years ago, while watching TV, I saw where two guys were bringing into a house meeting one of the representatives that was on a gurney. Can’t remember who it was, but that was ridiculous! The guy was in his 90s! That is a crock! Something should be written on this! And, Where is Rauner?
