There are plenty of reasons to be thrilled every morning thanks to EggCited Pancake House in south Naperville .
Since May 2014, owners Filiz and Victor Sav have been serving breakfast and lunch to diners at their restaurant on Hassert Boulevard and Route 59 where Gigi’s Restaurant was previously located.
“We enjoy being in Naperville,” said Filiz Sav, who grew up in Summit. “We really liked the location because it’s a great area, and from day one, we have had great customers.”
Filiz said once they secured the location and began remodeling, they needed a name for their new breakfast spot. That’s where their son came in.
“We were thinking of names for the restaurant, and my 13-year-old son came up with ‘EggCited,'” said Filiz Sav. “We all thought it was kind of funny, and we liked it, so we that’s how it came to be.”
