After three years at Humboldt Park, Riot Fest gets set for its first year in Douglas Park. And tensions are already heated in spots.
St. Anthony Hospital, across 19th Street on the park’s south side, filed a suit over noise and traffic concerns. It was quickly resolved as the sides reached a settlement. More here.
Now attention turns to how the fest, with its eight stages, 140 acts and carnival attractions, will occupy its new site.
