Brooklyn gets Shake Shack fried chicken sandwich, Chicago doesn’t

Chicagoans craving Shake Shack’s new ChickenShack fried chicken sandwich are unfortunately out of luck. The fried chicken sandwich that debuted at Shake Shack restaurants in Brooklyn today unfortunately won’t be making it’s way to Chicago’s two locations.

Shake Shack’s three Brooklyn locations are offering the ChickenShack sandwich this summer and there are no plans to offer it in other cities, said Kim Lyons of The Door, the public relations firm representing Shake Shack’s Chicago locations.

Shake Shack debuted its first Chicago location in River North last year and added a second inside the Chicago Athletic Association Hotel in the Loop last month. Read more in our burger review.
