The Devil Sings and Dances in Prada

Because apparently Broadway producers are now just as unoriginal as moviemakers, “The Devil Wears Prada” is getting its own stage adaptation, A.V. Club reports. Tony-award-winning producer Kevin McCollum signed a deal back in 2013 to produce stage versions of 20th Century Fox films including “Ever After,” “Mrs. Doubtfire” and the 2006 workplace nightmare. We, for one, would love to see Meryl reprise her role.

The digit: 18

That’s how many episodes Fox has ordered for the second season of “Empire,” A.V. Club

reports. Following in the annoying footsteps of “Breaking Bad” and “Mad Men,” the expanded season will be split into two parts debuting in fall 2015 and spring 2016, respectively. Clearly, we’re not the only ones who can’t get enough of Cookie in the hip hop drama.

Wait, like the senator?

Who knew J.K, Rowling was such a fan of American politics? When a Twitter follower asked the “Harry Potter” author on Monday to reveal the real name of one of Hogwarts’ best-known ghosts, Moaning Myrtle, Rowling replied: “Moaning Myrtle’s full name was Myrtle Elizabeth Warren,” Time reports. When other users pointed out Myrtle shares a name with Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren, Rowling added “Nothing to do with the United States Elizabeth Warren I hasten to add! ‘Elizabeth’ is just one of those classic British middle names.” Suuuuuurrreee.
