The White Sox and Reds haven’t seen each other for a while.

And they were postponed Friday night due to rain. The teams will play a double-header Saturday with the first game starting at 3:10 p.m.

The last time the Sox and Reds played each other was in 2009 in Cincinnati. The last time they met in Chicago was 2001.

Right-hander Hector Noesi (1-4, 4.17) was to get the starting nod for the White Sox, who are coming off a series against Detroit in which they took two out of three.

The Reds were to counter with right-hander Jason Marquis (3-1, 5.22), who has won three straight starts.

For whatever reason, the White Sox have had the Reds’ number, winning 11 of their last 12 meetings. The Sox are 14-3 all-time against the Reds.
