The fest served as a fundraiser for the Wilmette Theatre, and was also designed to raise awareness of women’s issues and rights. This year’s festival partnered with “Women Deliver,” a leading global advocate for the health, rights, and well-being of women and girls. This event was made possible by the generous support of sponsors — de Guilio Kitchen Design, Frances E. Streit Foundation, Persimmon, and Women Make Movies.
Friday night’s film screening was sold out with a crowd of 140, and 80 guests attended the reception. Some 60 filmgoers attended Saturday and Sunday screenings.
