Old Starks Tavern will hold a fundraiser from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, May 3, for the tornado victims in Fairdale.
The fundraiser will be held outdoors at the tavern’s location along Illinois 72 in Hampshire. The Mustang Sally band will provide musical entertainment. There will also be a silent auction, food and activities throughout the event. Since the fundraiser is being held on tavern grounds, only adults are allowed to attend.
“All of the money raised will be taken to the Kirkland Community Fire District station to help the people of Fairdale,” said Jeannie Howle, tavern manager.
