Oh, MORE phones in movie theaters? Awesome.
This seems like it’ll go over REALLY well. As if people texting in movie theaters wasn’t already problematic enough, Carmike Cinemas will be demonstrating its new interactive TimePlay system at this week’s CinemaCon, thr.com reports. By downloading the system’s free app, moviegoers will be able to “interact, in real-time, with content on the screen while competing for prizes and receiving special offers from Carmike and advertisers” at about 100 Carmike Cinemas starting next month. Because that doesn’t sound obnoxious at all.

The digit: 13
It’s real, you guys. Uncle Jesse himself (aka John Stamos) finally confirmed Monday night on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” that “Full House” sequel “Fuller House” is happening in 2016, with Netflix ordering 13 episodes of the show. The new Stamos-produced series, Variety reports, will center on an adult version of D.J. (Candace Cameron Bure), who is now a young widow herself, with sister Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) and best friend Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber) moving in to help her raise her own kids. Sounds familiar… Will Comet’s grandpuppies be making an appearance too?

“It’s great if they want to honor our culture … but it would be better if they brought on a Native designer who knows the real designs and can guide them,” —Native American fashion magazine Native Max’s editor in chief Kelly Holmes to Buzzfeed on mainstream designers misappropriating native culture. The 24-year-old founder, who grew up on the Cheyenne River Reservation, published the magazine’s first issue in 2012 and has since gained international attention for showcasing Native American designers and artists, as well as contributors from tribes across the country.
